Yamaha XT1200ZE Super Ténéré

The Super Ténéré is built for adventure, with an exceptionally narrow and compact 1199cc parallel twin using a unique 270° crank for excellent torque and traction. Engine mass is kept low for surprisingly light, agile handling. Its wide-ratio 6-speed transmission has the right gear, whether on the open highway or off-road. Narrow 2-cylinder inline engine is slim and compact for carving tight lines in twisty mountain roads.

Equipped with traction control, intelligent unified braking system and ABS, the Super Ténéré gives the rider total control over the bike and a high level of riding safety. Enhanced Yamaha D-MODE offers the choice of two different mapping options. “T” (town) mode gives a more relaxed and easy running character in slower conditions, while “S” (sport) mode delivers exhilarating and exciting performance on the open road. In order to make the long distance trips more comfortable, Super Ténéré comes with cruise control as standard equipment and the shaft drive eliminates the hassle of lubing the chain every 200-300 km’s. Additionally in case of a tire puncture, spoked aluminium wheels with tubeless tyres make it much easier to perform an emergency repair compared to a tube-type tire.
